"This Old House Policy", an Economist's View

This article was published in the Boston Globe this Sunday and I believe all those associated with our industry should read it.

Edward Glaeser is the Glimp Professor of Economics at Harvard and the director of the Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston.

In my opinion, since we are in the shelter industry, shouldn't our focus be on affordability so that everyone that qualifies by reasonable standards have the opportunity?  Having experienced bust and boom cycles over my 30 years in the business, I think we are all better off with gradual and stable growth.  I support economic policy that will take us in that direction.  What's your view?
